What account types are there?

There are 2 account types: Free Accounts and Premium Accounts. All new users are allocated a Free Account upon signing up. Users can upgrade from a Free Account to a Premium Account at any time.

What are the features of a Free Account?

You can make 3 types of worksheet for free with a Quickworksheets Free Account, however some features, such as customisable worksheet footers, are not available. The worksheet generators you can use are:

• Word Scramble
• Basic Wordsearch
• Minimal Pairs

What are the features of a Premium Account

Premium Account holders can access an additional 15 worksheet generators, store up to 1,000 previously-created worksheets online, and access other special features. A full rundown of all Premium Account features is here.

Why can't you give away everything for free?

As much as we would love to give it all away for free, Quickworksheets costs money to develop and maintain. The web app you see today is the result of many hours of work and much investment. By asking our users to pay a modest fee for Premium Accounts we are able to recover these costs and develop further features.

Can I change my username?

Unfortunately it is not possible to change your username after you have signed up, as it becomes your unique identifier throughout the site.

Is it safe to pay online?

Yes it is. All transactions are encrypted and secure, and are handled by Paypal, the world's most popular online payment processor. Paypal processes sales on our behalf at 'arms length' so your credit card details are never disclosed to Quickworksheets. We are a verified Paypal seller.

Do I need a Paypal Account to pay by credit or debit card?

It depends on whether you choose to pay monthly or prepay for one year.

You do not need a Paypal Account if you choose to prepay. When you are transferred to the Paypal website for payment you can enter your credit / debit card details without signing up for a Paypal account. (Look for the link titled "Don't have a Paypal account?")

You do need a Paypal Account if you choose to pay monthly. This is so that you can manage your subscription.

Can you provide an official invoice prior to payment?

Yes. Please contact us with the name and contact details of your organisation so that we can send you a PDF invoice by e-mail.

I cannot pay using Paypal. Can I pay using an alternative method?

We also accept payment by direct credit (within Australia) or international telegraphic transfer (from overseas) to our Australian bank account. You can organise this through your bank, or through money transfer service providers such as Western Union or Xoom. Please contact us to request payment by this method and to receive our bank details. A telegraphic transfer fee may apply for international telegraphic transfers. Please contact us to find out more.

Can I change my mind?

Of course! We don't want your money unless you are absolutely satisfied, which is why we provide a 30 day money-back guarantee on prepaid accounts. If you upgrade but decide that Quickworksheets is not for you, please contact us within 30 days of purchase and let us know the reason for your dissatisfaction. We will then cancel your Premium Account and refund your payment through Paypal. (We can only offer this money-back guarantee to customers who pay with Paypal because of the difficulty and expense of refunding money paid by telegraphic transfer.)

If you decide to pay monthly, we do not offer refunds, but you can cancel at any time! This means that if you decide to cancel within the first month you will have only paid $2.99.

Do you offer packages of Quickworksheets Accounts at a discount for schools or organisations?

Yes we do. Please contact us with your requirements to cut a deal!

Will you send me spam?

No way... spam isn't cool! Your e-mail address will only be used to send you your password and any notices specifically relating to your Quickworksheets account. If you are interested in getting occasional news and special offers from us, you can choose to opt-in to our promotional mailing list by checking the appropriate box when signing up. This promotional mailing list is entirely optional and you can opt-out at any time. We will not disclose your e-mail address to anyone else. (Read our full Privacy Policy for more detail.)

How do I delete my Quickworksheets account?

Go here and confirm your delete request. Within 48 hours we will remove all of your personal account information from our database and you will receive no further correspondence from us.

Can I create worksheets with languages other than English?

Yes you can, but this is a work in progress! While Quickworksheets was initially designed to create worksheets only in English, it is now compatible with a number of European languages. If some characters in your language is represented with '?' in the PDF, try creating your worksheet as a HTML file instead, as this has much wider support for foreign character sets.

Please also note that some worksheet makers, such as our Spelling and Proofreading Worksheet Generators, will only work with English text.

Who owns the copyright in worksheets I make?

Copyright in the worksheet content belongs to you. Copyright in the worksheet design belongs to Quickworksheets.

Are there restrictions in how I can use the worksheets?

Worksheets are for educational use. You are free to make as many copies as you require, however, you cannot directly sell the worksheets you create with the site. Please refer to our Terms of Use for full details on restrictions of use, and feel free to contact us if you have a query.

There are sites around with thousands of pre-made worksheets available. What advantages does Quickworksheets offer over these sites?

The Quickworksheets advantage is flexibility. You can customise your lesson materials with the exact target language or toward the exact lesson goal. This avoids the usual "60% fit" problem of using pre-made materials. With so many copyright-infringing pre-made worksheets floating around the internet, Quickworksheets also helps to keep you on the right side of the law.

Why is Quickworksheets better than using a word processor for making worksheets?
