Circle the correct word: I am now writing summary statements about what we do in class for the students to copy. This is to model correct use of specific verbs/vocabulary they are learning in class.

I do hope you are modifying this worksheet for your class. I am now focusing my students on this question: What are we doing today? The goal is to teach the continuous tense -ing. We are learning weather vocabulary. We are copying sentences from the white board. We are listening to Lisa. Etc. Modeling simple correct English. I am trying to incorporate the Language Experience Approach much more in my classes. Having the students learn to write about what they do is much better than completing some text book's grammar exercise. I also am using the Writing Road to Reading's method for teaching reading through writing. I tell them, if you can say it you can write it! This Quicikworksheet service is a God-send!!!! I can quickly and beautifully create and store tailor made worksheets for reading, writing, listening, and speaking at a fraction of the cost of textbooks. Good luck to all of you!
