My Horrible Birthday Party

Last week was my birthday so I decided to throw myself a party. It would have been great if so many things hadn't gone wrong! First of all, I had tried to bake cupcakes for everyone, but I didn't watch the oven carefully enough and the cupcakes all burned. When I saw that the cupcakes had been ruined, I decided to order in some pizza. The pizza would have been perfect if it had been delivered to the right house. The delivery guy got the address wrong and brought the pizzas to a house down the street. Even the music was a disaster! I thought that I had downloaded a good party playlist onto my computer, but when I plugged it in to the speakers, it wouldn't play. I don't know if it was a problem with the speakers, the plug, the cord, or the music files, but something wasn't working. So my party had no food and no music. What a mess! It never would have gone so wrong if I had planned better. Or better yet, if someone else had planned a surprise party for me!
