This Privacy Policy explains how Quickworksheets collects, uses, stores, discloses and protects personal information when you visit or use https://quickworksheets.net (the "Site"). It also explains how you can request access to or deletion of your personal information.
When you complete an interactive activity on the Site, we may collect and store:
This information is made available to the person who created and assigned the activity. Quickworksheets can also access this information as necessary to operate, maintain, support and secure the Site.
Teachers, parents and other people who assign activities are responsible for ensuring that their use of student information complies with applicable laws and any relevant consent requirements.
When you create or use a Quickworksheets account, we collect and store information you provide or information generated through your use of the Site. Depending on how you use the Site, this may include:
The information collected depends on the features you use and the information you choose to provide.
We use personal information for purposes including:
If you create an account, we may send you communications necessary to administer your account or inform you about changes to the services. If you opt in to receive news and special offers, we may also send promotional emails. You can opt out of promotional emails at any time.
Quickworksheets allows you to create an account or sign in using your Google account. If you choose this option, Google provides us with basic profile information that you authorise us to receive. This may include your name, email address and profile picture, depending on the information available and the permissions requested.
We use information received through Google sign-in to create or identify your Quickworksheets account, authenticate your identity, associate your Google sign-in with your account, and administer and secure your account. We may store this information in our systems for these purposes.
Quickworksheets uses Google sign-in for authentication only. We do not use it to access your Gmail, Google Drive, Google Classroom or other Google services or content.
Quickworksheets does not receive your Google account password through Google sign-in. Authentication is handled by Google.
We do not sell Google user data or use it for advertising. We do not disclose Google user data except as necessary to provide, operate, maintain and secure Quickworksheets, when required by law, or as otherwise permitted by applicable law and Google's applicable policies. Service providers may process information on our behalf where necessary to provide services to Quickworksheets.
We handle Google profile information in accordance with this Privacy Policy, including the provisions concerning account closure, data retention and deletion. You can also manage or revoke Quickworksheets' access through your Google Account settings. Revoking access does not itself close your Quickworksheets account or delete information already stored in it.
If you upgrade to a paid account, information about your Quickworksheets account, including your email address, and information you provide during payment may be processed by the relevant payment provider.
For payments processed through our website, the payment processor is Stripe. If you choose to pay using PayPal, the payment processor is PayPal. Information processed by these providers is also subject to their respective privacy policies.
Payment providers may use your email address to send transaction confirmations or receipts. The information collected and processed depends on the payment method you select.
If a payment dispute or chargeback arises in connection with your account, we may disclose relevant account, transaction and other supporting information to the payment processor, financial institution or bank involved, as reasonably necessary to investigate or respond to the dispute.
If you purchase a group package of paid account upgrades, we may disclose the email address of the person you nominate as the Group Administrator to other members of the group so they know whom to contact about the upgrade status of their accounts.
We use Gravatar to provide avatar images on the Site. To generate these avatars, we send an encrypted or hashed version of your email address to Gravatar's servers. Gravatar's handling of this information is subject to its own privacy policies.
If you choose to customise your avatar through a Gravatar or WordPress.com account, your use of those services is also subject to the relevant provider's terms and privacy policy.
If you choose to use the AI Assist feature, the prompts and other content you submit to that feature are sent to our AI service provider, OpenAI, LLC, for processing and generation of a response.
Do not include personal, confidential or sensitive information in AI prompts unless you are authorised to provide it and understand the implications. Information sent to OpenAI is subject to the applicable terms and privacy policies of OpenAI, as well as any applicable service settings.
You can read more in OpenAI's policies.
If you create worksheets using the Site, the content you enter is stored by Quickworksheets to provide features such as My Worksheets and to help us maintain, troubleshoot and improve the Site.
Your worksheets are not made available to other Quickworksheets users unless you choose to share them using the Site's Share feature. Content you choose to share may be made available to other users and guests of the Site and may remain available after you close your account.
If you upload your own images, we store them and make them accessible through unique web addresses (URLs) so they can be included in worksheets and interactive activities. Anyone who obtains the URL may be able to view the image. Although these URLs are long and randomly generated, they should not be treated as access-controlled or confidential.
If you share a worksheet containing uploaded images, those images may be accessible to anyone who can view the shared worksheet.
When you visit or use the Site, we may collect technical information sent by your browser, including your IP address, browser type, device information and information about how you use the Site. We use this information to operate and secure the Site, prevent abuse, support Site features and understand usage.
The Site may use cookies and similar technologies to support functionality, maintain preferences, analyse usage and help protect the Site. You may be able to manage cookies through your browser settings, although disabling certain cookies may affect Site functionality.
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site, including which pages or content they view and which browsers or devices they use. This helps us analyse Site usage and improve our services. Google Analytics may collect information through cookies or similar technologies and process information in accordance with Google's applicable policies.
Google Analytics is separate from the Sign in with Google feature.
We may disclose personal information where reasonably necessary to provide and operate the Site, including to service providers that support hosting, payment processing, analytics, AI features, security and customer support.
We may also disclose information:
Where service providers process personal information on our behalf, their access should be limited to what is reasonably necessary for the services they provide, subject to the applicable arrangements and laws.
If you purchase a group package of paid account upgrades, the Group Administrator's email address may be disclosed to the other members of that group as described above.
In accordance with our Terms of Use, people under 18 years of age are not permitted to create a Quickworksheets account.
Teachers, parents and other users who assign interactive activities to minors must comply with applicable laws and any relevant consent requirements. Depending on the circumstances and jurisdiction, schools or teachers may need to obtain parental consent before collecting information from students.
You may close your account at any time using the Close Account link.
When you close your account, we may retain certain information where necessary for record-keeping, to resolve disputes, prevent fraud or comply with legal obligations.
Worksheets and other content that you have expressly chosen to share may remain available to other users after you close your account. Copies of content previously shared with others may therefore continue to be accessible.
To request deletion of personal information associated with your account, close your account using the Close Account link and then contact us. Please include your account username so we can identify your account and respond to your request. We will assess your request and handle it in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
Closing your Quickworksheets account does not delete your Google account. You can separately manage or revoke Quickworksheets' access through your Google Account settings. Revoking access does not automatically delete information already held by Quickworksheets.
We take reasonable measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure. No method of transmitting or storing information electronically can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Personal information may be processed or stored in countries where Quickworksheets or its service providers operate or maintain infrastructure. Our existing services may involve processing or storage in Australia, the United States or other countries, depending on the service provider and the services used.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the Site, our data-handling practices or applicable legal requirements. The revised policy will be published on this page, with an updated revision date.
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or wish to make a request concerning your personal information, please contact us.
