My Unusual Train Ride

Last Saturday I went to Port Noarlunga to look in an antique shop. On the way home, I caught the train at Noarlunga Centre. I sat down on a seat, and in front of me were 3 seats arranged sideways along the carriage. A young man with long blonde hair sat there carrying a musical instrument. As the train pulled out of the station, he got out his instrument and started playing music and singing. A few stops later the train was quite crowded and three women got on and sat opposite the young man. They asked him if he took requests. He pushed his instrument cover towards them indicating that he wanted busking money. They obliged with $15 dollars, and requests. They started singing along with him and cheering when each song ended. By the time we arrived at Adelaide station, everyone in the train carriage was singing along and clapping. As people started getting off the train, they gave money to the busker. I think he made at least $60 during the journey. It was the strangest train ride I've ever taken.
