The Lord regretted that he made human beings on the earth and his heart was deeply troubled. Genesis 6:6 So the Lord said I will wipe from the face of the earth the human race I have created and with them the animals the birds and the creatures that move along the ground for I regret that I have made them. Genesis 6:7 This is the account of Noah and his family. Noah was a righteous man blameless among the people of his time and walked faithfully with God. Genesis 6:9 In the six hundreth year of Noah's life on the seventeenth day of the second month on that day all the springs of the great deep burst forth and the flood gates of the heavens were opened. Genesis 7:11 And the rain fell on the earth forty days and forty night. Genesis 7:12 Sent out a raven and it kept flying back and forth until the water had dried up from the earth. Genesis 8:7 Then he sent out a dove to set if the water had receded from the surface of the ground. Genesis 8:8 But the dove could find nowhere to perch because there was water over all the surface of the earth.He reached out his hand and took the dove and brought it back to himself in the ark.
