PRESENT SIMPLE I go to the supermarket, and the doors open as I walk in. Inside, it's bright, and there are many aisles with things to buy. I push a cart and hear its wheels turning on the floor. First, I go to the fruits and veggies area. I take some plastic bags and put in colorful fruits like apples and oranges. I tie the bags. Then, I go to the part with milk and cheese. I take a cold carton of milk from the fridge. I walk through the store, passing shelves with cans and boxes. I pick out some things we need for the week. People around me are busy too, and we smile at each other. At the checkout, I put my things on a moving belt. The cashier scans them, and I watch the numbers go up on the screen. I pay with my credit card, and the cashier gives me a bag with my groceries. I say thank you and leave the store. Outside, I load the bags into the car, and we drive back home. It's a good feeling to get everything we need from the supermarket. PAST SIMPLE I went to the supermarket, and the doors opened as I walked in.
