Yesterday my husband and I went to the beach. We went because there was a kite flying competition. We watched the people who were flying kites. Some were big colourful kites. One kite was in the shape of an orange horse. One was a large black whale but I liked the horse. There was also a kite in the shape of a stingray. Then we had lunch in a cafe and I ordered lamb but my husband decided to have chicken. After lunch we looked in some interesting shops. Finally we caught a train back to the city. We really enjoyed our day at the beach.
