Cellular respiration occurs in both plants and animals. In plant cells glucose combines with oxygen to make usable energy. The Fungi kingdom includes mushrooms and molds. The cells in the Animalia kingdom do not have a cell wall. The Plantae and Fungi kingdoms do have cell walls. The main purpose of cellular respiration is to create energy for the cells. The main purpose of photosynthesis is to create food for the plant. There are three domains of life in science; Bacteria, Archaea, and Eukarya. Eukaryotes have a nucleus and DNA. Chloroplasts are only found in plant cells. Prokaryotes are only unicellular organisms.
