My holidays were quiet but enjoyable. My father is very old so we visited him a few times. One time, we got off the bus half-way home to look in a shop. Then we decided to walk home instead of waiting for the next bus. We walked through Victoria park and the parklands. It was a really beautiful day for a walk. The next day we took our bikes on the train to Gawler. When we arrived, we went for a ride around the back streets. We like looking at old houses and there are a lot in Gawler. Another day we caught a bus to Hahndorf and looked in the shops. We also went to look at the spooky old Adelaide gaol. It's good to go out during the holidays especially when the weather is nice.
