Runaway Ralph Chapter 1

Ralph had to scrounge to find bits of popcorn and sometimes an olive. The name of the camp was Happy Acres Camp. Ralph had a rebellious attitude when told he had to give his cousins rides. The speed of the motorcycle made Ralph feel exhilarated. Ralph's mother was scared of being sucked up in the vacuum. Ralph could hear the bugle playing Taps every night. Ralph felt trapped between two generations of mice. When the grandfather clock struck, all the mice disappeared. The miniature size of the motorcycle was perfect for Ralph. Chromium mufflers gleamed after being polished. The motorcycle was Ralph's greatest treasure. Grain and poison were a threat to all the mice at the inn. Can you imagine how annoyed Ralph was when he had to give rides to all the cousins? Ralph's mother was fearful that he might fall in with evil companions. The passengers demanded more and more rides. Ralph loved peanut butter and jelly sandwiches! The clear mountain air made the night sounds even more distinct. Ralph's motorcycle was bright red and just his size. Ralph's favorite place to ride was on the kitchen floor. All of Ralph's relatives wanted a turn on the motorcycle.
