For each comma splice, write the sentence again correctly.  Use two methods that you learned from watching the video.

Example: Camping is fun, it is a lot of work.   Camping is fun, but it is a lot of work.  (This is the method of adding a coordinating conjunction.) Camping is fun.  It is a lot of work.  (This is the method of making two sentences.)  You need to choose two of the three methods from the video.  You do not need to use all three.  There is more than one correct answer.   She took a picture of a house finch, it was in her bird bath. I made a video about comma splices for this worksheet. You can use this worksheet after you teach about comma splices. I didn't teach about the semi-colon, so this is not an option in the answer key. The three methods of fixing are: making two sentences, adding a coordinating conjunction, or adding a subordinating conjunction. I hope this can be helpful in your teaching. If you use this and adapt, please also share alike. :)
