Hazard
Process characterized by comparatively high temperature
Warming
a great flowing or overflowing of water, especially over land not usually submerged
Flood
a warm-core cyclone that originates over a tropical ocean area, generally beginning as a tropical depression and having the potential to intensify and develop into a hurricane or typhoon, classifications that depend on where the storm is occurring.
Tropical cyclone
a period of dry weather, especially a long one that is injurious to crops.
Drought
the seasonal wind of the Indian Ocean and southern Asia, blowing from the southwest in summer and from the northeast in winter
Monsoon
falling products of condensation in the atmosphere, as rain, snow, or hail.
Precipitation
a series of vibrations induced in the earth's crust by the abrupt rupture and rebound of rocks in which elastic strain has been slowly accumulating.
Earthquake
an extended mass of ice formed from snow falling and accumulating over the years and moving very slowly, either descending from high mountains, as in valley glaciers, or moving outward from centers of accumulation, as in continental glaciers
